Fire Escape
March 2nd 10-2pm In a lot of movies Fire Escapes have inspired many dramatic moments, and now Atkinson Designs has been inspired with a quilt! Using a variety of values, colors, and prints this quilt is very dramatic. Can be made in three sizes. Teacher Sandra Tubolino $25
Friends in The Forest
March 6 and 13 10am-5pm Learn how to make this beautiful Log Cabin quilt using new techniques for traditional quilts. Teacher Ginette Provencher $45
Bear Hugs
February 15th 10-2pm learn the technique of raw edge applique for this kids quilt. Learn to trace a reverse pattern, use steam a seam and applique. Teacher Coleen Poole $20
Introduction to Paper Piecing
March 17th 11-2pm Haven't done paper piecing before, this is the class for you. Even if you have never paper pieced before or never made a star block with perfect points, you will discover success in this class! Teacher Sandra Tubolino $25Bundle of Bricks
March 20th 10-2pm You only need 5 one yard cuts of your favorite fabric. This pattern is very quick and easy to make using strip piecing. Great for Beginners. Teacher Mary Russell $15Begin Quilting
March 22, 29, and April 5 1-4pm Confidence building piecing skills will be emphasized in this technique and personal design oriented class. We will practice at least 6 different blocks, including snowball, 4 patch, 9 patch, rail fence, 1/4 and 1/2 square triangles. You will know how to match points with ease. Starting with the perfect 1/4" seam, pressing tricks, rotary cutting the right way, tools and safety, Dianne teaches you how to make a quilt from beginning to end. March 27th 1-4pm Free motion quilting has come a long way. In this class, Dianne will teach you many ways to mark and stitch your quilts for the home machine. Battings will be discussed and how to choose patterns will enable you to know what design is right for different quilt types. March 28th Learn the technique of using Puff Foam. We meet the last Wednesday of every month. This is for anyone and everyone that does embroidery or just learning. Learn to utilize your machine to its fullest. (all brand of embroidery machines) Teacher Bette Clark $10 each session
